I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling in 2009 and completed my Licensed Professional Counselor internship in 2014.

I am currently coaching online clients and offering personal retreats from my home near Sedona, Arizona.

My experience includes helping those with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, faith shifting, trauma, and abuse issues. I specialize in holding space and providing gentle guidance for those doing deep, healing soul work.

My goal is to support anyone who comes to me, regardless of race, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation, toward a life of health and wholeness that is consistent with their own values. I am LGBTQ affirming.

My personal journey out of anxiety, depression, and despair motivates every part of my practice. I find enormous satisfaction in helping others find their way through their own dark days, into light and Love.

For more information about my counseling approach, please see my Manifesto.

Things to know before we begin meeting

  • The most important factor in successful work is the relationship between you and me.

  • You should feel safe and respected at all times.

  • You should understand what is happening, and why.

  • Our work may bring up difficult emotions, and it will probably be hard work.

  • You should still feel safe and respected, even if the work is tough at times.

  • I may recommend journaling, books to read, and/or groups to attend, to help with the healing process.

  • Our sessions will be 50 minutes in length. We can schedule weekly, biweekly, or as needed. We will work together to find what fits for you.

  • This work is for you. You may end the relationship at any time, with no obligation to me.

  • If I am unable to provide the help you need, I will provide you with referrals to further resources for your care.

  • I may ask you to see a doctor if I feel that medical issues are contributing to the presenting problems.
