Boundaries are the never-ending story.
What’s okay with us and what’s not okay with us changes as we change, as our circumstances change.
What was okay with us a decade ago, a year ago, six month ago may not be okay with us any more.
What was okay with us before COVID-19 came into our lives may not be okay with us during this time of pandemic with all its unexpected events.
This unprecendented situation may require some boundary work.
How do you know if your boundaries are out of whack, if you’re living in a way that’s really not okay with you?
Lots of times, anger is a signal of boundary problems.
Frustration and annoyance are trying to let us know that things are not okay.
A sense that others aren’t doing enough, that everything is all up to us.
Pervasive exhaustion.
Feeling unheard, unseen, undervalued, unappreciated.
Working way harder in relationships than others.
Finding ourselves stuck in patterns with others who won’t cooperate.
Realizing that we need to have difficult conversations, when the old ways don’t fit any more.
If any of those sound familiar, and you’d like to dig into how your boundaries might need to be adjusted, join me for Toward Better Boundaries: A Thirty Day Practice, anytime!
The course is now hosted here on my website, and includes a brief daily video from me, a daily journaling prompt, and support as we share insights together. You’ll simply log on here and find everything you need in our private group page.
To honor the reality of our world at this time, I am lowering the cost of the course.
I look forward to seeing you in the group!
