We were on the Isle of Skye, trying to get "that picture" of the Fairy Pools, and the only way to get the correct vantage point was through the giant mud puddle.
Luckily, Andy had done a great job of researching waterproof trail shoes, and we waded through without getting our feet wet.
Two bonus points for these shoes: they're under $100, and a great color for hiding trail dirt when we hiked Red Rocks country in Utah and Arizona.
